Sweet employee discount (40 percent off!) at Journeys, Shi, Lids, and more Genesco stores. Good place for salesman experience.

Cons

Poor management. Goals are ridiculously high. Sell socks or die.

Pros

It was nice to have been given a first Job from someone. The discount was nice, and I did like a couple of the employes. The commission is nice though

Cons

In the month in a half I've worked there I've come home crying 4 times because my co manager has repeatedly called me stupid. They put a 16 year old CHILD in a sales floor position which is fine, except the only training I got was a two hour virtual CD. I'm being harassed b/c I can't make their outrageous goals, I was over scheduled one week, under scheduled the next, then not given any work for two weeks. They need to quit giving Highschoolers management positions and give the company actually competent, HELPFUL mangers.
