Pros

The concept is very good, but the idea of using college nannies who will go off to college in the fall.

Cons

KC office is a total mess of management not being present to handle the business. Leaning on underpaid staff to make decisions and then second guessing the whole process.

Pros

Families were great. Get to set your own hours. Webtools are available to help you become even better at tutoring.

Cons

This is the most disorganized company I have ever worked for -- everything was last minute all the time and it is often difficult to get a hold of the owner. Often, tutors are stuck speaking with an intermediary who can only pass the message along. And the intermediary's position is like that of a revolving door, no consistency. I have never been paid on time and promises made during the interview are not fulfilled. (Promise A: "We'll find families near you!" <- lie, families were 40+ minutes away. Promise B: "We'll compensate your gas milage!" <- lie, did not happen.) And no compassion was shown when critical weather conditions made keeping appointments next to impossible.

Pros

Working from home nothing else

Cons

IT IS MY OPINION that: the pay is Barely over minimum wage the owner of the company has no idea how to run a business there is no formal training at all the Owner will talk trash about you to other employees. she claimed I needed more training after one day when they have no training there is not a ton of work to do at night so the mangers will try to get you to do the work they don't want but are paid to do there is no communication the owner will call and text you when you are not scheduled expecting you to tend to work related matters off the clock they fired me after 3 weeks for no reason at all the 2nd person they hired the same day as I quit within 2 weeks they can't keep employees or caregivers because they are poorly managed
