Pros

I have the best manager I've ever worked for and my team is great. I have autonomy to establish my own priorities.

Cons

Safety is not a priority - upper management gives lip service to it but does nothing to actually support safe work. Pay practices are not consistent from site to site, and if you don't know to negotiate EVERYTHING when you are initially offered a job you will lose out on potentially better pay, amount of time off, and potential bonus.

Competitive pay and benefits with opportunity to earn additional paid time off for having perfect attendance. This employer offers a wellness initiative annually that can earn the employee a discount on their insurance premium. Several times a year, the company provides a catered meal to show their appreciation to employees. It is a union shop and the recent contract has a bonus that will pay out in December.

Cons

No plant safety director at this time. Others are covering the duties in the interim.
