      Extremely competitive and hostile environment between colleagues and departments, silo culture, not aligned targets throughout the departments, discrimination from C-level between departments, low IT capabilities

      Pros

      Great coworkers — the small team was talented, supportive, and the only real bright spot. Work/life balance was decent compared to other engineering environments.

      Cons

      Pay was below industry standards and never seriously addressed despite promises. Leadership turnover created confusion and instability. We were repeatedly told we were “critical to the company,” only to face layoffs without explanation. Big talk about innovation, but no real structure to execute. Projects fizzled out due to disorganization and lack of follow-through. The team was too small for the workload, forcing constant rework of old problems instead of moving forward. No clear path for promotions or raises, and no transparency in how decisions were made.
