Pros

You work with very bright people, but many of them have become dissatisfied and have left. It's a paid position.

Cons

There are numerous disadvantages to working in this management, but the following stand out: As a research assistant, you are overworked, undervalued and significantly underpaid. Many times, you are asked to perform tasks that are not part of your job description, which takes up significant amount of time aw3ay from your family life. People at the bottom are viewed as replaceable. Nobody is motivated to try to reach them. Even if they are reached, bonuses and raises are SO laughable, if they even come at all. Spare yourself the agony.

You will learn a lot, work is very diverse. People are fun to work with. Good stepping stone.

Cons

Selfish upper management who don't care about employees, they only want you to think they care so they can continue underpaying you. Key people in management are not mature enough to respect and make the most of diversity. Tip to those who are applying: ask about their turnover rate and that alone should paint the whole picture for you.

The leadership in this company is unrealiable. The managers don't care about the employees, and they don't have any sense of urgency when resolving problems raised by the employees. Most of the managers are just so lazy. They don't care even if the poor working conditions make it harder for us to do our jobs. This is the most uselss management I've ever worked with
