Pros

Flexible, nice people, opportunity to meet very cool students , sometimes continuing education is paid for, great benefits, regular raises and bonuses.

Cons

Depending on the particular school and that semester's enrollment, you can get totally buried in work. So, what may seem like a very flexible job can easily take over your life. Creatively not very stimulating. Course content is fixed, so you don't have much control over your classroom.

Pros

You get to work from home mostly and the teamwork is great.

Cons

Not flexible for the students or teachers as promised. Home work balance is awful for some teachers.

Pros

I loved my job as a virtual teacher. It is a joy to work from home and serve my students in this environment.

Cons

Doing the job of attendance secretary takes more time than it should. All of my supervisors were 10-20 years younger than me with less experience and qualifications.
