      Pros

      Work from home, learned a lot about virtual teaching

      Cons

      The job consumes you, with all of the requirements you are always understaffed (while we are told we are overstaffed) and doing the work of 4 people while being paid far less than a brick and mortar teacher. Do not work on a 180/190 day calendar, and required to work more hours than a brick and mortar teacher for far less pay.

      - Freedom to experiment with different styles - Ample opportunities to learn new techniques and software - Open communication with management and the chain of command - Talented co-workers - Generous pay

      - Frustrating to work around people with weak work ethic - Big picture/roadmap is occasionally obscured/absent - Marketing never makes use of in-house artistic talent - Some management positions filled by legacy staff rather than a more qualified candidate

      Pros

      K12 has a great mission, one you can get behind. The provide quality education to everyone regardless of location, finances, or aptitude.

      Cons

      Need operational help with sales organization. Run like a smaller corp that is still in development. Many basic needs are not able to be met - accurate commission calculations, customer billing are often inaccurate.
