Pros
Hard-working, talented individuals. Great accomplishments and deliverables from a small IT team. Infrastructure VP and his directors working hard to affect positive change and build a solid technology platform and org foundation.
Cons
Extremely poor work/life balance (10 - 12+ hour workdays). New management expects staff to be always available. Org in constant state of transition with new management, new roles and responsibilites and very little manpower to get the job done. Many teams are overworked with little recognition from outside the department. New PMO org creating major overhead while adding little value. Many FTEs in planning and reporting roles and few in the positions that deliver actual value.
