Pros

Received decent pay. Was not micro managed.

Cons

The SW division management has consistently failed to secure new construction projects, and I expect KBE will likely discontinue this group in the near future. When I accepted this position, I was led to believe I would work on new construction projects. However, immediately upon starting, I was assigned to small tenant improvement (TI) projects where we compete against 10+ other general contractors. If you’re seeking opportunities in new construction, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros

Feel respected and this is an important element to me. Great amounts of training are offered and encouraged. Very good pay. A team approach where 'we're in it together' and where we assist each other to produce a successful project.

Cons

Telecommuting is not always doable, depending on the project at hand and one's role in it.

Pros

Great on-boarding experience, Programs are set in place for continued construction education, Competitive Salaries & Benefits, Supportive Teams & Management . Great work culture.

Cons

Nothing negative to say, not that all things are always smooth, this is construction, it can come with its challenges, but the company is open to ideas, advice and feedback on how to make operations smoother, I would say that is rarely the case in most places of employment.
