the IT department is very Silo-ed, if you work in IT, you will be limited to what your group does, no chance to expand to other areas, also company is growing by acquiring new companies all the time which in turn means lay-offs

Kbr pays corporate staff the bare minimum they can. I worked here almost 18 months and never got a raise despite being “promoted” twice. Benefits suck. Over 200 a paycheck to cover 2 people and that was the minimum plan. 6000 a year deductible. That makes it almost impossible to see a doctor because you can’t afford it.
