Relaxed working environment, mostly a good work/life balance

Cons

Very political place to work, poor leadership and senior management who don't seem very interested in the job they have been employed to do. Some very arrogant and rude trading staff who have a very high opinion of themselves!

There are some very good, highly skilled technical individuals working at KCG

Cons

Confusion as to the type of business KCG is operating in - HFT or Trading. All senior management are from the legacy side of one of the merged company or all recruited from the CEO former place of work which does not give a balance view of the organisation. This leaves existing employees to believe that there is little chance of internal promotion.
