Pros

Good work life balance and competitive pay. Some very talented technologists work at KCG so there is a lot you can learn

Cons

Lack of filtering information from management downwards. Very US-centric which can be frustrating when trying to get things done in the London office.

Best place to learn about technology. People are using latest tech to reduce latency counted at nanosecs. Smart people, open and family-like environment Good pay

Lots of good people but lacking an overall strategy

Pros

Lots of good people, decent benefits, lots of effort to make the workplace nicer (free soda etc.)

Cons

Two years on from the merger still a lot of us and them separation. Management have some good ideas about where the firm should be positioned but the execution on actually getting to those goals is lacking.
