      Feels like Upper Management/leaders does not care about their employees. Felt like they did not care about additional sick leave during the pandemic.

      Pros

      Small firm perks such as tickets to events You’ll learn a lot on the job since you’re expected to cover all aspects of designs including final punch of the product.

      Cons

      Multiple deadlines pressures, micromanagement, and unrealistic expectation of constant perfection within a time constraint with multiple projects due. There’s not enough time to do everything perfectly the first time. Design is a iterative process. Also, an engineer is only as good as the info that’s given to him/her. The person who back-checks the work gets angry at the designer for forgetting a clause or an equipment. The culture makes people feel intimidated to make mistakes but that’s how everyone learns.
