NEPOTISM NEPOTISM NEPOTISM!!! Anyone writing anything positive on here is Managment! KCI is literally the worst company I have ever worked for when it comes to Nepotism and that’s gods honest truth!! Literally only thing that matters is who your related to, as family members get hired and promoted over anyone that’s more deserving and qualified! Have watched Managment numerous times hire or promote someone with absolutely NO experience at all over someone that’s employee at KCI with years of relevant experience in the field, all because of being a family member! I’m sure some will think I’m exaggerating but it’s the dead’s honest truth and I can name 20 ppl off top my head that only have a position at KCI because of family member working here. It’s one thing to hire someone that’s family because they are a good worker and you know their background/work ethics etc, BUT that’s not at all what happens at KCI. They hire/promote family with NO experience over highly qualified individuals and it’s totally UNETHICAL!! They preach a lot about ethics etc but it’s all crap, they don’t practice what they preach at all!! Upper management is either totally lost or doesn’t give a F and they just as corrupt, I’d lean totally lost or out of touch with the construction side.. They literally throw money down the drain every single day but won’t give out raises lol what a joke. Takes 5 mins to see how much money wasted - the amount of trucks/vehicles that sit empty in parking lot all day long unused, having 15+ guys working a warehouse that could be run by 3 employees lol such a joke when u walk in and they all sitting there playing in their phones not working because they are family members lol they won’t even get off their lazy buts to help when there is work in warehouse!! It’s literally a circle of 95% family on the construction side so I ADVISE TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM KCI !!! Unless of course your family…… No promotions or raises based on your skills, experience or value to KCI…… none of that matters… they don’t care how great a worker you are, they don’t care how much the clients like your quality of work, they don’t care about your work ethics or experience… none of it matters at all, you could be the most qualified person in the world and they would still give it to their son/brother/nephew/cousin etc….Upper management is either pathetic or just doesn’t care enough to know what’s going on.

Company’s runs off the good ole boy network, doesn’t matter how great an asset you are to the company or how much experience you have, they only care about family/friends. If your not part of that group seriously don’t waste your time, you’ll get no where and never get any type of job promotion. 2 Employees made unacceptable derogatory racial slurs/ comments that offended another employee that they should have totally been fired for! BUT since they run on the good ole boy ways , it was just brushed aside and Managment told the employee that reported the incident to keep their mouth closed!! This blew me away and couldn’t believe nothing was done about this, there’s no place for using words like that!! But since those employees are buddies with one of the low level managers and he hired them on, it was all just brushed under the rug like nothing happened what a joke!! And KCI acts like the practice diversity and inclusion lol what a joke!! Those 2 employees should have been instantly let go for the racial slurs they used on the job site !!! It’s honestly sad how poorly and inefficient this company is ran, maybe the worst I’ve seen, in my time there it amazed me how much profitability was lost due to poor lower level management being in positions they have no idea what they are doing. Many better companies in the same field of work that value their employees much more then KCI does.
