Pros
ESOP is the only thing keeping employees there. Only having to do as little as possible, so you don't get fired, is a Pro.
Cons
Pyramid scheme, where 90% do all the work but receive no bonus. Budgets are micromanaged bi-monthly, and charged time is moved around so the monthly budget numbers look good. Obsessed with multipliers and utilization rates to a fault. No "boss structure" or accountability in regional offices, so there are no consequences for poor behavior. New ideas and alternate ways to accomplish goals are not tolerated...young employees are brainwashed as part of the cult. Employees are required to donate their own money to national and local political action committees to help get municipal/government contracts. People with little to no real-world experience are promoted based on passing internal courses and off-site training, Employees are treated as commodities (FTEs), not people. Often, OT is required...not because of workload but to make monthly and yearly numbers look better. Poor office culture and morale. Positive change is not supported.
