      Pros

      We're better resourced than DCPS and a lot of other charter networks. The buildings are in great shape and we're not strapped for cash on supplies. The students and families are great.

      Cons

      While they pay more, if you break it down per-hour it's not too much better than the regular public schools. We work longer days and start about a month before DCPS.

      Great pay and the other teachers are great

      Cons

      Long hours, math and english teachers teach 110 minutes of new material every day (not block scheduling).

      Firm has basic benefits like PTO, health insurance, etc. They don’t pay out PTO when you leave

      Cons

      Leadership is passive aggressive, school sites are unsafe, comp is very low considering they have all employees work an extra hour, few opportunities for growth
