Pros

The children, the families, and communities. Many dedicated teachers that do the best they can.

Cons

Regional and school-based leadership is a huge detriment. Constant turnover, lack of support, unrealistic expectations, and a top-down toxic brand of leadership. People in management positions saying openly racist things about people they manage only for regional leadership to admit they had heard similar concerns and look the other way. What is going on in Miami is unfair to teachers, staff, families, the community, and students. It was the only schools in Miami Dade with an F rating and anyone that has a five minute conversation with an employee will be left wondering how this region is still functioning.

Long hours, incompetent leadership, pay is no better than what you’d get in a public school, student achievement and class sizes are no better than public schools.

Great leadership team, colleagues; very supportive Company treats their teachers well and care about them provides gift cards, treat staff for lunch, gear and many other things Benefits are okay not great!!

Cons

Student behavior is the biggest headache Student have many skill gaps and therefore it becomes difficult to teach them Grades given out. A student with C or D equals an F in another school. An A student is probably a B- to B+ student Students do not have the prerequisite skills to be in their grade level let alone take AP courses No textbooks
