Pros

Once you work in a KIPP school you can survive at any school.

Cons

The hours are too long. Average work day is 7-7. This place is horrible for mental and physical health. They want you to train students to be future prisoners. Also, if you want to have a life outside of work KIPP is not the place for you.

Pros

-The students are amazing -Having a good relationship with staff is necessary to survive. The staff at my school was very supportive of one another

Cons

-Hours -Everything has #1 priority -Teacher input is rarely considered in any decisions -There is little support for the mental health of staff -Money is not given to schools in a way that is equitable. Some schools have way more resources with less need while the high need schools struggle -Staff is not encouraged to fulfill personal goals
