      Pros

      Work with phenomenal kids and occasionally a manager who sees you and values you as a person.

      Cons

      Deal with a program that promotes people who have put in time but are not cut out to lead the schools in the right direction. Focuses on increasing good press but not so much on focusing on making education rigorous and accessible for students. Lots of shady antics and political moves that would shock all the people who give KIPP undying praise.

      Pros

      Kipp is a place where you can certainly learn a lot. Most of the staff member are very talented and hard-working. You have opportunities to learn from your team.

      Cons

      Long hours. Plenty of extracurricular activities with no compensation. Many daily school duties that take you away from your teaching role or other responsibilities directly related to your job position.
