Pros

The Leadership at KIPP Chicago was very excellent. Summer Training is rigorous and you really get to dig into the meat of learning

Cons

Promotions: you must at least have 2 Years of experience to be a Lead Teacher. Spring Break: Vacations have very excellent perks working at KIPP

KIPP has such a great culture and mission, that it makes you feel like you have a purpose.

Cons

When change needs to happen, there needs to be a more sense of urgency.

Pros

The pay scale is significantly better than other schools. You form a bond with the staff and great leadership.

Cons

Long work hours, unnessary professional development, too much drama, overworked, no breaks, lack of support, working with teachers who have no experience or credentials in the education field.
