You'll be micromanaged and given extra work that's outside your job description. Prep-periods, and sometimes even lunch breaks and after-school hours will be used up by largely pointless meetings with information that could have been quickly sent through an email. You'll likely have inexperienced managers who aren't qualified to teach your subject matter at all constantly try to tell you how to teach it and get aggressive if you question anything or bring your own experience and expertise to the table. Staff turnover is very high, which creates an unstable environment with constantly changing expectations.
