Pros

KrolLDiscovery KLD is a company where an ambitious individual with grit can advance in their career. If you want something step up and take it. There is an emphasis on teamwork and most teams are close knit. Chris Weiler is very generous and makes incredible oppurtunities available for individuals that cross his path. Benefits are pretty good and training is available if you ask for it.

Cons

While there is room for advancement you can only advance so far without knowing the right people whether that is a member of senior management or someone that is close to a member of senior management. Teams are siloed. Great comradary within teams but not so much across teams. You can be a leader if you excel at your craft but aren't an effective leader. About 1/4 of management fits that description. There is no work life balance period. The company prides themselves on being 24/7/365 and they take that very seriously. Top down management style throughout the company. Everyone was ill prepared for the Kroll acquisition and moral has suffered since. It will take some time to work through that.

Pros

L Discovery recently purchased Kroll on Track and has made a seamless adjustment. They provide a flexible work schedule and managers who are firm yet accessible. They also provide 40 hours of paid personal time for a temporary assignment.

Cons

The company only offers temporary positions based on their ability to obtain discovery projects throughout the country. The company may improve its efficiency by creating more permanent positions in different pasts of the country rather than central locations.
