Great Benefits, Hard Work is Well Rewarded

Pros

LDiscovery is a great company with a lot to offer its employees. The benefits plans are great and very affordable-much cheaper than other places I've worked. Employees who work hard are rewarded with more responsibility, promotions, and spot bonuses. There is very little impediment to climbing the ladder here-its more about hard work, helping the team, and, yes, being available when you are needed.

Cons

The company has grown very quickly and is trying hard to improve and adapt as they do. It can be bumpy at times, but the desire to treat all new employees as family is definitely there and comes from the top down.

Worst company I ever worked at

Pros

When I started there were some amazing people working there. Within 6-12 months, they were all either let go for being disobedient or quit themselves.

Cons

- Extremely toxic management, very US oriented, military style. - management wants you to work in silos and not talk to other departments. They insist on having your manager talk to other departments. - very limited learning opportunities, work itself is not challenging nor stimulating. Your only job as a PM is to put out fires everywhere. You‘re more like a call center agent than a project manager. The job title itself is misleading and has nothing to do with project management. - Salary is low and they try to hook you on paying overtime. Which by itself is enough to prove the toxic culture I was mentioning earlier. Salary negotiations are impossible as your manager and their manager both say that they have no say in it. - the company doesn’t care about its employees and the meetings are only there so that they can mention how great KLD is - extreme cult vibes.

It just gets worse

Pros

Flexible schedules, people are pretty nice

Cons

ever since LDiscovery bought Kroll Ontrack, its like were all just swirling down the toilet. The environment already wasnt very good and morale was horrible. It's just gotten worse. Jobs are constantly being moved to Poland while the threat of layoffs persists in the US. . Senior Management are all friends and family of the CEO. butt kissing gets promotions while everyone else suffers. It was nice, but this place has rapidly become a job I absolutely hate. I never know if I will have a job after the weekend. i try to keep a good attitude. it's easy to hate a job. but lately there's been nothing but bad things happening.
