      Management needs to learn to show respect and understand “tone”

      Great technology options. Solid infrastructure. Growth plans.

      Newer executive management team members either have no understanding of tone in email or truly don’t care that they lose credibility every time they send an email basically saying “my way or the highway”. Many good people are fed up and leaving purely because of the lack of basic respect shown.

      Free lunch on Fridays, and free coffee and teas in the kitchen. Parking is free. Admin staff if nice.

      This is one of the worst document review mills I’ve worked at, and I’ve seen a few. The supervisory staff have their noses in the air and are completely unapproachable and condescending. When review attorneys dare to ask them a question, they act as if you’re bothering them, and then speak to you as if you’re some pesky middle school kid instead of a professional. One of the supervisors sends at least 1 snarky email a day to “the team,” designed to make us feel like idiots. You get or incomplete / inaccurate instructions (or none at all), and are then made to feel stupid when you ask questions to fill in the blanks. Same deal when expectations or instructions change, which they do here regularly. Spare yourself the stress and grief, and look elsewhere for review gigs unless you’re really desperate for a paycheck. It’s not worth the extra $1-2 per hour above the regular Miami market rate to be disrespected daily, on top of putting up with the the booooring work of reviewing documents.
