Pros

Fantastic coworkers, opportunities for growth, great benefits (generous PTO, volunteer hours, wellness programs, comprehensive insurance), flexible WFH policy, travel opportunities with different departments, bonus structure, etc. Honestly, I could keep going. I genuinely believe that KPA is a great place to work. I've seen positive changes to company policies and initiatives over the past 4+ years that keep me feeling strongly about staying with this company in the long term. I love that KPA has a start-up energy. There are so many opportunities to get involved in creating standards and being creative in how we operate as a team and reach our clients. If you're looking for a company where you can set a strong foundation, grow, and meet wonderful people, KPA is it!

Cons

No workplace is perfect! KPA has been in a huge growth spurt recently. The purchases of new companies is exciting for the company but can present unique challenges with different contract terms, trying to match products, and simply adding lots of new clients at once. The workload can be very high. KPA operates like a start-up in a lot of ways, specifically with consistent changes in SOPs. This can be seen as a con since processes can changes often and quickly, but it's also an opportunity for hard workers to build a strong internal system. It's really all about your mindset and what you're wanting to get out of your own professional experience. If you do a quick Google on pay structures for CSMs, you will find that KPA is on the lower end of the scale. Keep in mind that the organization has been an onsite consulting business for over 30 years. The CS department is still very new and growing.

Pros

Company is going through a lot of changes trying to move from a historically onsite safety consultant company to a tech company as well. That change can allow for some movement in terms of what you can do in the company.

Cons

Low pay with a weird structure that is on the total low end of the pay scale for this type of work. The bonuses are not hard to hit but it is a weird way to pay out your employees. The structure is very disorganized and even with some bright points trying to make a positive difference, there is no real support or structure in place for employees. May have gotten better. Would not be surprised if it has.
