There is a lot of flexibility and freedom to define your own career path at KPFF. Lots of support from the top to enable younger staff to grow as quickly as possible.

Cons

Salaries could be better. Feels like it can take a few years to see decent salary growth relative to entry level salary.

The people are very friendly and the environment is more collaborative than it is competitive. The horizontal structure of the company also allows younger engineers to step into larger roles earlier in their careers than they would at other companies. The comp time perk is nice too.

Cons

The benefits and compensation package are mediocre within the industry.
