Pros

Learned crew, equipment and time management. Time and cost tracking. Material ordering and tracking. Print reading and revisions by communicating with upper management and customer construction Rep.

Cons

Poor benefits, upper management friendship circle prevents advancement and job stability. No concern for well being of employees, low pay and unqualified employees. Everybody is easily replaceable no matter the experience obtained.

Good benefits. Good medical. Family orientated company. Great safety training and driver training. Great 401k plan that they match in percentages.

Having to take a pay cut due to low oil prices

The weekends are always off.

Cons

Pay not great... depending where you work also depends how long you'll be away from home a work day like me 13 hours but only get paid for 9.
