Pros

I love working with my clients and working with amazing people every day.

Cons

Kadiant was just bought by Attain ABA. They have increased our hourly rates but taken away many benefits that we used to have.

Pros

Put your psych degree to work Your coworkers are mostly kind people who really want to help a struggling kiddo Some of your managers are also kind people and understand how hard it is to be regularly assaulted by a seven year old, but since this is an integral part of the job, they can't do much to help.

Cons

Being regularly physically, verbally, and emotionally abused by children is 50ish% of the job, and mgmt's antidote is adequate "self care". Human Resources is a misnomer. Talk about wage theft, they tried to steal my pto by switching to a new system and deleting everything I had accrued, and only compensated me for it when I made several strong, detailed cases as to why that was fundamentally wrong, among many, many other shady moves. Pretty sure most of my coworkers at the time didnt make the same argument despite me encouraging them to.
