Pros
The clients and their families are all amazing and do NOT deserve to be treated the way the company treats them.
Cons
If you're lucky to get FT (Which is 30 hrs minimum, which is almost impossible to get), then you get crap benefits. We used to have every holiday paid off, no matter if you were FT or PT, and PT employees had access to a small benefits package. Also, to be FT you only had to work 25 hours, which was much more manageable in this field. However, they were bought out by Attain and everything has gone down the drain. Currently, they are down to three BCBA's, all the others have put in their two weeks, and the BT's are leaving in flocks. They removed mileage pay in the midst of gas prices rising, and reduced the amount you get paid for drive time. Also, when given feedback about the impact this all had on their employees, we were told that we asked "loaded questions" and that we needed to consider the "blended amount" when talking about pay. To explain this, there are two rates. Rate 1 is what BT's get paid based off of direct client services. Rate two is at minimum wage of your area, will never be increased, and is for everything else we do (which is the majority of our job). On top of all this, the BCBA's salary was reduced drastically, and yet they are being asked to do more work then before. Don't waste your time. The company will most likely fold soon anyways as other areas are also seeing the employees leaving. Also, they never informed the families that any of this was happening, which is extremely irresponsible. They also preach about "self care", and yet if you are neurodivergent, they treat you like crap. This company is discriminatory and predatory. They only care about making money.
