Pros

Spent ten years here as a part time math tutor and got a 5% raise every single year.

Cons

There were not really many opportunities for advancement, at least not in the area in which I worked.

Higher ed is ok but can get repetitive. Higher ups don't understand how their decisions can effect students.

Pros

Good benefits, paid time off, paid snow days, felt like a safe building, kind coworkers. Acces to the gym and pool is free for employees. Great work life balance!

Cons

The work can get boring, higher ups make decisions that don't always align with best student interest, some higher management have no idea how to work even the most basic technology, office politics-some of the upper management men are PIGS, students can be rude and clueless.
