Pros
Best opportunities in accounting, little else. Secretaries seem happy. Will hang on to anyone as long as they show up for work.
Cons
- Incompetent Management is tolerated and never redressed - Poor Core Compentcy in businesses - Lots (hard to overstate this) of dead weight - Quality problems and lack of ability to address them - Shallow quality structure, cost/quality balancing apparently abandonded Kaman is a conglomerate than makes everything from helicopters to ball bearings. Buys and sells businesses and avoids large development efforts since it's incapable of doing them. Technology is brought in from the outside often with poor understanding and results.
