Runs like a small startup at the branch level from operational standpoint but offers greater security given the resources leveraged from Kaman. Steady resources and proven business model

Cons

Culture around computer and technical tools usage and IT issues seem to be stuck in the 80's. A culture of fear is applied from Corporate in this regard.

Low paying job for the field

Pros

Good benefits. Reasonably priced health insurance, personal days, vacation time accrued monthly.

Cons

Starting pay for a class C mechanic is $12.00. Seems low for building military helicopter assemblies. After one year of good service with a low scrap rate yields a 30 cents per hour raise. Gee thanks. Most people I talk to would jump ship at a better offer right away. Good place if you need the job badly.
