Great Employees... Poorly Managed Company
Pros
Well established company Great people retained through acquisition Strong vendor relationships
Cons
Complete lack of trust. As a commission salesperson you need to KNOW you're employer will pay you since it is retroactive. Kaman would pull out every single stop to make sure to screw you. Also if you're just coming on you can bet your commission plan will change every year for the worse. If you make "too much" money (probably >$100k) they will pull some levers to push you back in line. Management is completely inept. They don't hear the employees below them nor do they want to. Benefits suck-- for several years I went on the private market and paid less for more coverage. Maybe this is what they always wanted... I started with 10 days per year of PTO and ended with 10 days after several years. Worst in the industry.
