Approachable Executive leadership Board leadership that cares as much about the staff as they do the patients and community Ability to make a difference in real time without a bunch of bureaucratic red tape Great pay! The most amazing PTO accrual schedule I have ever had... BY FAR! Good benefits
Cons
Rural healthcare requires flexibility. I wear a LOT of different hats and at times it can be challenging to juggle all of that. If you are rigid about what is "your job", this might not be the place for you, but I love it here. There is also not a TON of opportunity for career advancement just because we do not have the layers of leadership that are required in larger facilities.
