      Great technology, horrific leadership

      Pros

      The best part is that I knew more than most of my leaders and how to make it successful commercially and was able to do so.

      Cons

      They did not care, did not appreciate sales success. Prefer to be an r&d company and believe commercial growth reflects poorly on their image. Too much arrogance behind their PhD and MD titles that even their own customers rolled their eyes at them behind their backs.

      Transforming medicine to save lives and worth it

      Pros

      The science and technology are top notch. The product is transforming the way infectious diseases are diagnosed worldwide. Some of the smartest scientists and clinicians work here. High ethical standards and collaborative team. People are sincere and driven by the mission to improve the way medicine is practiced. Fun team activities and sense humor prevail in company culture.

      Cons

      As an early start-up company, not everything has been figured out and optimized.

      Technology with great potential but company losing momentum

      Pros

      Some smart individuals who are still around but the number is shrinking. Solid technology and well-defined operational process.

      Cons

      A niche product so very limited market and application. No growth potential. Price is too high and insurance does not pay. Test works well but in few and far between cases. Most results do not help doctors or their patients so demand is not growing.
