Pros

Cute merchandise, that is literally it.

Cons

Scheduling is a huge issue. How are you going to keep a team and give each individual 5 hours a week? When the staff has more than enough availability, so that is not an excuse. Management. It seems like every person is a manager. The store is not that big and there's more "management" than actual employees. Not to mention, the management acts like the worst mean girls click you could ever imagine. Lack of growth. Don't ever expect to grow in this company. They will wave promotions in your face like its nobodies business but you'll never get them. They would rather just hire from the outside.

Love Stress? Kate Spade is for you

Pros

Visuals are gorgeous, product is great

Cons

Where to begin. If you love being stressed out & constantly on edge, this company is for you. While goals are supposed to be challenging, they should also be realistic. Scare tactics are often used to try to & get stores to make these goals. Management at district level & above micro manage to insane degree, leaving little to no room for each individual store to manage their specific business. Store management are often scheduled 6+ days in a row, leading to lots of burn out. Not surprising that there is such a high level of turn over, more than any other retailer I’ve ever worked for.
