Pros

You gain valuable networking experience with fellow former employees. Keane specializes in neat shore outsourcing of business with top Fortune 500 companies but since the turmoil of the Sub prime crises , US financial industry has been cutting project which has been effecting Keane considerably. Even though people from the client are amazing to work with, the client people have the idea that since Keane charges a lot , the employees are compensated a lot.

Cons

Company is not serious about finding more business within Canada. Company needs to build the brand awareness in Canada especially in Toronto GTA area. Keane needs to treat employees with more respect by offering more generous salary package and career advancement opportunities.Even though people from the client are amazing to work with, the client people have the idea that since Keane charges a lot , the employees are compensated a lot.

Pros

Compensation isn't too bad for lower experienced employees, and it is nice that they base it on years of service in the industry not just at the company.

Cons

Long hours are expected, especially on-call time. None of this is compensated. The 2 years I worked there there were no raises at all, not even the normal cost of living ones. There is no bonus structure at all, so your only reward for doing well is possibly being promoted into more work for no additional compensation.

A steady, reliable (and small) paycheck.

Cons

Horrible, incompetent management. If you are American, you will never go anywhere now that the company is owned by an Indian. They are using it as a shell to get more H1-B (and other visa types) over here and American are just superficial camoflage for their real intent.
