      Pros

      You get paid overtime depending on which client you are assigned. There are some bright employees that I'm proud to work with.

      Cons

      1. They will cut your salary shortly after you are employed with them. They make a good salary offer, and then reduce after your other job offers have vanished. 2. You will get let go after completing an assignment; pipeline is small 3. Unless you work in India, job prospects or movement are zero to none. 4. Your boss is virtual; I've never spoken or met my supervisor; communication is via email and usually addressed to a group. When you leave Keane you won't be able to get a recommendation from your boss because he/she don't know you.

      Good Company with growing pains.

      Pros

      Very good pay, and interesting, important work done for government clients. Benefits are average for local industry but realatively good nonetheless. Great people to work with and their are very few Corporate requirements that interfere with performance.

      Cons

      Recent merger has caused pains. Keane Federal has been supporting Keane proper and our successes are not being rewarded. There appear to be a number of untrained managers, and poor processes for selecting candidates for leadership positions. Company seniority does not matter as their is no process to screen potential candidates before selecting someone to fill management vacancies.

      Pros

      There are still some very talented and bright people to work with.

      Cons

      - The is an almost absolute lack of communications from senior management. It's like working for a US company back in the 50's and 60's with an autocratic leadership with no feedback loop from below. The expertise and thought leadership in project management that the company had prior to the Caritor aquisition has been thrown away. Senior management from Caritor is learning on-the-job how to run an organization that's more than 5 times as big as they ran before. And because they had a miniscule US workforce before aquiring Keane, they don't understand the US workforce. I would even say that they have a certain level of contempt for the US workforce and believe them to lazy and overpaid. Not a fun place to be (unless you're below the radar at a client site).
