Pros

There is an Eight-hour work limit so no pressure to finish things overnight. Do not need to support night batch jobs.

Cons

There is not much incentive to work hard. No bonus. Poor benefit. No overtime pay. There is no chance to become an independent consultant.

Pros

Good place to blabber with some technical terms and impress and get bonuses. Please realize that these chatter boxes will never improve bottom line. Thanks for understanding.

Cons

Ok place to be associated with Keane but no room for career building opportunities. No room for good innovative people. On top of this these time sucking managers will waste the good working people's time. Managers do not know how to manage people and explore the potential of their own people. Keane is in the business of consulting. In consulting business every consultant should be treated like an ambassador at the client place. These people know more than anyone else at clients place. Keane managers irritate the very own team that they should treat them as ambassadors. They will not give pay raises, nor good career opportunities. If you want to grow you have manage up and do work like excel file filling all the time. Managers(non-billable) do send some emails and ask some information just to make sure they are also working. I believe this is how they manage their higher-ups. So called managers think they are real managers but when problem arises they act like mice and run to technical team to solve the problems. After fixing the issues they again show their bossism on their people. Bottom line managers should have good listening skills along with leading the team with an example and empower certain decisions depending on the situation. Keane management if you are seeing this then at least realize that you need to retrain or get rid of these time sucking managers. Best of luck.
