Pros

High exposure to firm leadership, interesting performance bonus. Salary competitive and adjusted constantly to match market. Firm invests in resource development. Generous maternal/paternal leave of absence.

Cons

Work-life balance can be difficult at times, especially if one has a family and is traveling. Medical benefits are a hassle and could be improved.

Pros

I've worked with some of the brightest people I've ever met at A.T. Kearney. You're placed in an environment where you will have to learn quickly on your own or through a peer as there are very little formal training available.

Cons

Compensation as well as the firm's culture has shifted in 2014. New senior management brought on a new pay structure after the 2013 year ended in early 2014 and implemented it for the year of 2013 without giving prior knowledge to the employees. Many people were left confused and angry by his pay structure that only acknowledged a certain few. Imagine working a full year and to later find out that the bonus structure changed after the fact and ending up getting a 0% bonus. Some employees are overworked while others aren't utilized at all creating an environment where people burn out or are forced to leave.
