Pros

The majority of coworkers were friendly, helpful, and all around great people. Commission structure is okay. Good health care coverage. Office is not far from west loop for great restaurants after work. Product is robust, from a software perspective Keeper is amazing. CTO is awesome and intelligent. He is very busy but will try his best to help with sales calls and personally jump on calls with clients that have technical questions to put them at ease. Seems like some departments really like working with each other, but other departments don't feel as harmonious.

Cons

A lot of turnover. It seemed like processes changed a lot & leadership would go back and forth a lot. I didn't feel like I had opportunities for promotions, and the likelihood of work from home continuing after covid seemed like it wouldn't be happening. In my opinion, there should be sick days available instead of having to use PTO. No 401k match, no equity, no gym benefits. I felt that group messaging could have been better; all hands meetings ran pretty long. Speaking could have been limited to 5 minutes per department and introductions for new employees could have taken 10-15 minutes tops. Many all hands meetings also could have been an email. I didn't feel comfortable addressing any improvements for the company during my time there. There was a lot of micromanaging & top-down messaging that people I reported to probably didn't want to have to deal with, but needed to appease the ceo.

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to respectfully mention that as HR I always welcome feedback and have always fostered and environment where timely feedback is honored and acted upon. While these reviews are anonymous, I can say that none of these types of issues have been brought to my attention by current employees. Especially in sales positions, sometimes a high energy environment is not for all personalities, and that is ok. As you mentioned we are so lucky to have such a diverse and eclectic wonderful group of people who we get the honor to call our employees. Some of your information is not factual, so I feel a fiduciary duty to point out a few things. We offer equity and we do have a gym benefit available as part of our BCBS health insurance plan. We also have a very generous PTO program which allows for up to 5 weeks of paid time off each year, which is above standard for our industry and size.

Pros

If you are IT you can make great money

Cons

Not enough training for product specific needs. Lots of gossiping and team ethic only exists with new business sales teammates. No write ups prior to terminations

Even at the world's most successful companies, it can be hard to make the right types of hires. In this case, I think Keeper wasn't the best fit for your strengths and weaknesses, and that's ok! We strive to improve our hiring, recruiting, on-boarding, and training and retention processes everyday, and it is a growing and learning experience fueled on both sides. We currently have a 96% happiness rating on our CSM training module provided to all new hires, which I think speaks volumes to how much our employees value and related to our current training program. I would also note that while our CSM role can at times be heavier on sales than some companies, this was clearly denoted in the job description on our website and discussed openly throughout the hiring process. That being said, we wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Remote job makes up for the cons.

Cons

Horrible benefits, lack of job security, lack of appreciation, people getting fired left and right without grace or reasoning…could go on and on.

We respectfully disagree with the characterization of our culture, leadership, and benefits. Keeper Security operates with clear expectations and accountability, which are essential in a fast-growing cybersecurity environment. Most employment separations are performance-related and follow documented processes; they are not arbitrary, nor are they handled without communication or consideration. We also want to clarify that our benefits package benchmarks above comparable companies of our size, and we offer an industry-leading bonus structure designed to reward meaningful contributions and sustained performance. While a high-performance culture is not the right fit for everyone, many employees value the flexibility of remote work, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow in a results-driven organization.
