Cons

Cons are that there are not always extra funds to support extracurricular activities but administration provides what they can.

Pros

Time off - holidays, weekends, spring break, Thanksgiving and Christmas break.

Cons

Most of the time on break is spent preparing upcoming lessons, or in the summer preparing for the next school year. Though the salary is not bad considering the time off, the fact that this time off is spent working equals compensation not commiserate with responsibilities and time invested. The insurance is outrageously expensive. You are looking to $1000 a month and up if you have a family for insurance premiums and the coverage received is not great.
