After the last family member was booted out, the work place became hostile. Top performers left or were forced out. Secret meetings and secret agendas became the rule of the day. A much need re-org was needed. However, it was only done at the field level so that real problem (Corp Leadership) could remove threats to their positions of power. Sadly, all that was left were the failed leaders and their "Yes" men and women. Finally, the people at corporate see themselves as infallible. And unlike the king who walked through town with no clothing on, will not listen to anyone trying to get them to change their ways.

There weren't very many opportunities due the economy in Michigan. The projects didn't last very long either, maybe three or four months, at the most. When I requested to have one day off for my son's 1st birthday, I was told that I couldn't because there were too many requests from other employee's that weekend. I even asked two weeks in advance. They did meet me have way and let me leave early.
