      Fast-paced, quickly growing yet supportive and welcoming

      Pros

      People are focused on getting the job done which leads to you being treated like an asset to the overall success of the company. Everyone I've worked with has been supportive and open to trying new things while speaking candidly about challenges and opportunities that we'll work together to overcome. Work/life flexibility, onboarding (even virtually), and smart goals that are built collaboratively are definite strengths.

      Cons

      The Chicago office has not re-opened just yet; however, other offices are open (depending on location). I recognize that this is not Kemper's fault,and I look forward to when we can return to the office to see one another in person.

      Leadership is diverse and very knowledgeable concerning the insurance industry. There is opportunity to learn from different perspectives. The company is in strong growth mode which provides multiple opportunities for its employees to move into different positions and grow with the company. Leadership has a clear and transparent direction for the company’s goals.

      Cons

      As with any big company in growth mode there are data issues that need to be addressed.
