Pros
Previously great, flexible, loved it. Been w Kemper for several years. I don’t want to reveal too much for anonymity. Really liked it at first. Pay was ok, not the best but ability to work remotely helped balance that out. My immediate manager and even my manager’s boss, all great to work w. But at the end of the day they have little control of what goes on and the decisions that are made.
Cons
It’s gone really down hill and it will likely continue to. Shareholders and profits over employees. That has been made very clear the past year or so. Return to office seems like a ploy to cut workforce. Lots of data shows that return to office plans causes employee turnover. Lots of people are unhappy. Also, return to office is essentially a pay cut since many of us were hired as remote employees.
