Pros

I have only been employed at Kemper for a short while, but I am happy with how things are. My immediate leadership has stated they are available for whatever I need and they have been - it isn't just lip service. There are also definite opportunities for growth within in the company.

Cons

I have not come across any so far.

Pros

- Scheduling flexibility. Great coworkers. Good learning experience and challenges that help grow claims career.

Cons

- Low paying - Unfair claims file auditing practices to the point where you barely get a raise that is enough to cover yearly inflation and cost of living - Senior adjusters have to carry more of the weight - When you are new you feel like you are on an island - No in office training department to assist new team members - No yearly bonus (Company does not incentivize) - Some adjusters will get consistently get claims more than others, no even distribution - Poor Senior Leadership, lack of direction and some are not friendly, lacking interpersonal skills
