Pros

HR is great; they have supported me in every way that they can. Compensation and benefits are good. Seems like there will be a good amount of opportunities in the years to come. You're thrown right into the mix with a good amount of autonomy.

Cons

Working hours are long (~10 hour days), but that seems to be a side effect of growth and working from home. On the finance side, there was almost no onboarding or time allowed for onboarding, you're thrown right into the mix.

Pros

The focus is on a collaborative team environment, but it also continues to allow individual growth and advancement. Kemper adjusts quickly to unique situations, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, to make sure their employees are taken care of in an appropriate and considerate fashion.

Cons

Communication between departments and units can be improved upon, but there are active goals to do so.
