Pros

Kemper has a lot to offer in terms of benefits and work life balance. They allow for a flexible work week and offer a fully remote position which is key for me (and many others). They offer competitive pay and have a great 401k plan for their employees. The hiring process was very quick and you never felt out of the loop or anxiously waiting. The next steps were always clear and the HR rep I dealt with (Rachel) was amazing. Overall, I am very happy at Kemper and happy with my decision to take their offer.

Cons

They could improve the new employee onboarding process with remote employees, but given fully remote positions are new to the company, there are bound to be kinks that need to be worked out.

Low Pay - Good Learning Opportunities

Pros

Good learning opportunities and direct managers cared about your work life balance.

Cons

Pay was hilariously bad (20k under industry average). No real opportunities to pivot into another field within the company since business relationships weren’t being prioritized. Senior management doesn’t care about the feedback staff level employees have to offer.
