Pros

Sense of community and culture. "Gratis" free products from the brands we work on. People are easy to get along with. Great DEI department and initiatives.

Cons

Lack of diversity/POC in senior and executive positions. Takes a while for lower roles to get promoted. Remote employees aren't treated as well as hybrid/in-office workers. Complaints to HR are unresolved. Favoritism and promotions among the higher levels. Layoffs come without warning.

-Amazing team -Competitive pay within the beauty industry -You will develop an impressive portfolio of work

Cons

-Burnout is widely excepted as the norm at Kendo -Having any quality of life outside of work is incredibly difficult. It's almost impossible to succeed without sacrificing most (if not all) weeknights and weekends -High stress environment. -Work "emergencies" seem to happen every week. -High employee turnover within certain brands (not uncommon for employees to quit before the 1 year mark). If you choose to work here, have an exit strategy just in case.
