Pros

Flexible work schedule, Equipment provided, Health/Dental/Vision Insurance

Cons

Incompetent leadership, Toxic work environment, Low pay, No 401k, Benefits far below industry standards, Office politics, Favoritism, Lack of communication. Quite literally the worst, most disorganized and inadequately run company I’ve ever worked for. I take it for what I can - that I got a good amount of experience to add to my resume, which helped me to get an amazing new job where I am paid fairly, enjoy great benefits, get to take adequate time off to recharge, am respected and appreciated, and where my mental health is not negatively impacted and I can focus my energy on my family once I am off work, instead of fuming and stressing even after work hours. It’s important to note that I think your experience varies depending on what department you work in. On the actual care provider side, things are probably not as terrible. But for working in an admin role, where you deal with leadership directly and constantly, it is foul. The way I was treated here was disgusting. I am not just some disgruntled employee. I gave the job 110% and a performance that was above and beyond. God forbid anyone tried to make reasonable and necessary suggestions or push back on unfair treatment. The ones who did were just dogged and beaten down emotionally until driven out. The top leadership are some of the most toxic people I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with, and they play favorites like no one’s business. The pay was insulting, especially with how much was expected. The benefits were abysmal. I cried tears of joy when I got a new job and could put my notice in. Literally celebrated with my friends and family. Everyone was SO happy for me. The way this company is run is an embarrassment and I feel bad for the coworkers I left behind. It’s been a long time, but I hope anyone still there is doing okay. If you MUST accept a position here, go into it thinking of it as temporary and get the experience. Then, RUN. Side note: check out all the vague five star reviews that all just happen to come through within a couple of days of each other in November. Huh, wonder how that happened? That should at least be a huge red flag to you.

Pros

Its a rewarding job helping others

Cons

Kennedy care treats employees like they're disposable, the schedule coordinators are not friendly, not flexible with timesheets when not able to use app or not at gps site, no raises after working 2+ years, they never check in to see how employees are doing. Worst care company I've work for.
